200 -ACRE AGRICULTURAL IRRIGATION PROJECT
Clykay successfully delivered a solar-powered irrigation pumping solution for a 300-acre agricultural project in Chakama, Kilifi County. The project featured a 7.5kW high-flow centrifugal pump powered by solar energy, designed to transfer water to a dam, from where it flows onward into the farm to support agricultural irrigation.
By harnessing renewable solar energy to power high-flow water pumping, the system provides a sustainable approach to agricultural water management, helping reduce reliance on conventional electricity and supporting irrigation across a large farming area.
