GOT NYATIGO COMMUNITY WATER PROJECT
Clykay successfully completed the Got Nyatigo Community Water Project in Seme, Kisumu County, under a contract awarded by KWAHO. The project involved drilling a 120-metre borehole, installing a solar-powered water pumping system, constructing a 53m³ galvanized steel water tank elevated on a 12-metre tower, and building a 50m³ masonry water storage tank. The project also included a pipeline distribution network to deliver water to users, supporting improved access to reliable water supplies within the community.
By integrating solar pumping technology, durable water storage infrastructure and a water distribution network, the project provides a sustainable approach to community water supply management while reducing dependence on conventional energy sources.
Project Highlight
This project demonstrates Clykay’s commitment to sustainable community water infrastructure through borehole drilling, solar water pumping, steel tank fabrication and installation, water storage, and pipeline distribution network development. Working with development partners such as KWAHO, we continue to deliver integrated water and energy solutions that improve access to water and support community development across Kenya.
